Email Marketing – Building a Subscriber List

Building a subscriber list is the main focus of any internet or online marketing business.  Your email list is the way that you will market to or contact your customers.

There are a couple of new players in the field of email marketing.  Their names are DMARC and DKIM. Gmail and Yahoo recently announced that they are creating some changes in the way emails are being sent and received.

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication Reporting & Conformance) is an email security protocol. DMARC verifies email senders by building on the Domain Name System (DNS), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) protocols.

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication method designed to detect forged sender addresses in email (email spoofing), a technique often used in phishing and email spam.

It seems like by now you would have heard “the money is in the list” so many times you could choke on it.  But the truth is the truth.  Using email marketing and building a subscriber list are very important to your online business practices.
